Summer Card Camp 2--Sketch time!

Hi all!

I'm here sharing a card I made based on a sketch for the Summer Card Camp 2 class. We were given 3 sketches to play with. I can't show you the sketch but I can show you the card I made based off the sketch. :) Here it is:
I wish I could tell you what pattern papers I used but they're all from a gift pack (without the front cover) that I won from my LSS. But the sentiment and die cut is from Simon Says Stamp! (LOVE them!) and the onesie die is from Wplus9. This was a fun card to make and easy, too. I added a little heart to the die cut (Martha Stewart) and some faux stitching to the onesie and the card was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Yes, I'm still here!

Hi friends!

I know, it's been a long time since I've posted anything...what can I say? Life has been busy!

I wanted to share a card I made tonight using a great sketch from the Unscripted Sketches site and some inspiration from the Runway Inspired site (loved using the colors from the photo) and the Lawnscaping site, too, which asked us to incorporate stitching on our card! Yes, 3 challenges in one card! Since I have very limited time now, I have to make the most of it and play along with as many challenges as I can in the short time I have! You'll find the badges and my card below.

This is a clean and simple card. I embossed the front of the card and then followed the sketch. I replaced the butterfly element with tons of hearts (used a Martha Stewart punch) and then embossed the bigger hearts. I added some twine, some silver faux stitching and the sentiment and the card was done! This is a great sketch for a quick and easy card. You can tailor it for so many occasions and so many different styles. I'm surely going to use it again!

Thanks for stopping by!
