The Sky's the limit on WCMD

Hi all!

Since I'm on the West Coast, it's still World Cardmaking Day for me. Tonight I got a chance to work on a quick card. I'm entering it in a few different challenges. The first is retro sketches. They provided a sketch and, as soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what I'd use. The second is the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge where they wanted us to use a transportation theme. Last but not least is the Word Art Wednesday site that always features an "anything goes" challenge. Here's my card and the sketch:
Isn't this a cute sketch?! I LOVED it! I thought the parachute kind of mimicked the question mark and sentiment at the bottom was like the period. I have been on a watercolor kick lately. This image (Hampton Arts) was colored in with inktense watercolor pencils and I added some slight shading with Distress Markers. I fussy cut the image and stamped the sentiment. VERY quick card to make....but so cute! You could even add some clouds in the background but I wanted to try to stick close to the sketch, albeit with my twist on it.

Hope you all enjoyed WCMD! Thanks for stopping by!
Pat
