A Pinspired Birthday card

Hi friends! I hope everyone is having a good week. Mine has been interesting, to say the very least. Tonight I'm sharing a card that will be given to a little girl on her birthday. When I saw the latest photo inspiration card on the Pinspired Challenges site, I knew this would be a perfect time to make the card. Here's their photo and my card:

When I looked at the inspiration picture, I could see some cupcakes. So, I chose this yummy cupcake from Hero Arts and then some cute paper from DCWV's Glitter Sweet Matstack and layered it on some brown cardstock. The cupcake was colored in using inktense watercolor pencils--LOVE those pencils! I wanted the cupcake to be nice and glittery so I used some stickles on the frosting and added some glitter to one of the hearts on the cupcakes with a glitter pen. I added the sentiment and some faux white stitching and the card was done! :)

On a personal note, I'm not sure how much I'll be posting in the next few weeks/months. I'll try to post at least once a week but other areas of my life are needing a lot more focus.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
Pat
