Stretch your Stamps class inspiration

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a card I made today based on the inspiration of the Stretch Your Stamps online card class. Today's topic was how to get more from your background stamps and it was a great class!

Here's my card.
I used the background stamp to make a graphic border on the bottom edge of the card. Then, I added some yellow ribbon and decided to color in the background stamp a bit with my yellow distress marker. Love the graphic look to the card and it's perfect for a guy...The sentiment is from Teresa Collin's Fabrications line and it was stamped in distress ink, too. I added just a few gems to it and mounted it with dimensional adhesive.

If you get a chance to check out the class, it's not too late to join in. Click HERE and you'll be amazed at the creativity these talented people are sharing...

Have a good night!

  1. Oooh that's lovely. I'm so into yellow and grey right now and this card is perfection.

  2. very cool card, love the pop you added with random color to background.

  3. I am also taking this fabulous class and loving each and every day!

I really LOVED your card and it really stuck out to me from the Gallery. The style is also very much CAS, which I love!!

PS: I'm also a huge fan of Hero Arts!! :)

  4. great way to create your border

  5. Love your card-- and that your "background" has lots of white space-- so nicely done
