A color throwdown sketchy card

Hi everyone!

Have you ever had one of those days when you work so hard that you feel like the LEAST you can do for yourself is spend some time crafting? That was me today! I was sprinting about like crazy! By the time the evening arrived, I thought, "I need some crafting time. I DESERVE some crafting time!"

So, here I am! Sharing the first card of the night...hopefully, not the last! :)

I decided to join in on the latest Color Throwdown challenge. The colors really intrigued me. And then, I wanted to try my hand at a sketch from a new site that I found called CAS(E) this Sketch!

Here are the challenge badges and my card:
I started out with a black card back and used the Hero Arts Classic Fabric Design stamp and stamped it using my distress inks (Shabby Shutter and Chipped Sapphire). The sentiment is from Hampton Art and I added some buttons and ribbon and the CAS card was done. I really like the simplicity of the design/sketch and that it still has an elegant feel to it.

Hope you guys can join in on the fun and thanks for stopping by!
Pat
